‘Selling Isobel’ recently won the INDIE AWARD for best film at the Raindance Film Festival, it is also nominated for Best Film at the ECU Film Festival in Paris.


‘Where the Road Runs Out’ starring Cesar winner Isaach De Bankolé, Genie winner Juliet Landau and SAG Nominee Stelio Savante won BEST DIRECTOR and BEST ACTOR at the 2015 Academy Accredited Sunscreen Film Festival in Florida and BEST FILM at the San Diego Film Festival in 2014 as well as the UT-Award for BEST FILM. In 2016 the film won the JURY AWARD at the Helsinki African Film Festival. In 2017 it won the Black Reel Award for Outstanding World Cinema Motion Picture.



Rudolf’s debut feature the neo-noir Dark Hearts was filmed in 2011. In 2012 it was nominated as BEST FILM at the prestigious Raindance Film Festival. It also won the MAVERICK FILMMAKER award at the LA Neo-Noir Film Festival. It was released in the US by Vertical Entertainment in 2014 and screens on SHOWTIME. It stars:

Rudolf graduated top of his class at the South African Film School with his short ‘Courting Plaster’ that won best director from a jury that included director Jamie Uys (‘The Gods Must Be Crazy).
